Trying to get a midi keyboard to record through an XFI elite pro console on windows 7. Where's the option? - the record zofilia

I have my MIDI keyboard to the MIDI console, but the pitcher xfi creative applications of the console does not seem to be a MIDI channel. I get no answer when playing notes on the keyboard in one of the channels available (not online travel up and down). Please help.
