Surely you've seen the size of a Krugerrand or American Double Eagle, which contains 1 ounces of fine gold. They are the size of an old U.S. silver dollars. So, multiplied by 100 for a silver rod? The densities are not so different.

In other words, the bar weighs 100 grams, or about 6 pounds. This is a very wide field.
